ELDRITCH FANTASY SPLORTS LEAGUE
A downloadable game
You are the Commissioners, and you are here to create a Splorts League - a strange fascimile of something similar to and yet utterly unlike professional sports. Guided by The Book, using a d10 and a deck of playing cards, you will create the teams of your league, including their LOCATION and NICKNAME. You can also create NOTABLE PLAYERS, KEY STAFF, STADIUMS, and FANS AND RELATED GROUPS for each team.
This game is inspired by the cultural event of blaseball (blaseball.com) and is part of the #BlaseballGameJam.
This game is in the mold of games such as The Quiet Year or Microscope, in that it is a setting-building / world-building game, rather than a "role-playing game" by its classic definition. That said, much like both of those games, it should stand quite well on its own - you do not need to "use" the output of this game for anything else, if you don't want to!
